Hyundai's Marketing and My Passion/Enthusiasm/Research in Undergrad

Hyundai Motor Group's marketing strategies inspire my strong passion and enthusiasm for marketing. I started looking at Hyundai's YouTube commercials, such as the Hyundai Veloster "Live Loud" and Hyundai Venue "Urban Vibes" advertisements. My perception of cars changed from simply being a means of transportation to an essential partner of everyday life, and I was amazed at how a vehicle advertisement can associate cars with the trends of Millennials and Generation Zs.


I've come to realize that Hyundai's trendy advertisements are part of its marketing strategies. I got tempted to delve deeper into learning Hyundai's marketing strategies, from traditional methods such as STP to modern methods such as e-commerce and digital marketing. I've not only been inspired by Hyundai's successful implementation of its strategies and innovative successes, but also ultimately gained interest in marketing itself and decided to learn and utilize the fundamental fields of marketing.


During my undergraduate studies, I created projects about Hyundai's managerial strategies to demonstrate my understanding of marketing(STP model, cross-brand marketing, SWOT analysis), management(strategy: product differentiation), and entrepreneurship(value proposition canvas) concepts and share my inspiration from the company with my instructors and peers.
